Welcome to the College Adviser Page!

My name is Katrina Sliter and I am the new College Adviser through the Pennsylvania College Advising Corps. I graduated from Bennington College in Vermont with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science in 2021. The transition from high school to college, apprenticeships, or working can be very confusing and difficult without the right resources and knowledge. When I was in high school, I wasn't very good at looking into the future or having perspective on my present. This made it really hard to know what I wanted to do and how I was going to get there. This experience means I have a deeper understanding of the transitions students are currently going through, and it is such a joy to now have the skills to help all PV students with their goals. I am a resource for any Penns Valley student or family member! 

 

When I'm not at Penns Valley, I enjoy knitting and crafting, taking long walks, or hanging out with my two bunnies!
