Shoe Drive

So far we have 30 bags with 25 pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes. That puts us at 30% of our goal. We still need your help and time is of the essence. Don't put off this opportunity to clean your closets and to make a difference here and abroad. We will be collecting shoes through the end of April and still need everyone's help. We are hosting a shoe drop off event at Penns Valley High School Saturday, April 20th from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm. Stop by, drop off your shoes, and help us reach our goal of 100 bags! If you can't make it that day, stop by any of our drop off locations through the end of April. Weavers Store Old Gregg School Community & Recreation Center Shades of Red Salon Centre Hall Library Mary's Store American Legion PV YMCA Please take a moment and look through your closets, ask your neighbors and friends to do the same and get those shoes collected. We are counting on you! Here is a link up to help on April 20th with the shoe drive!-

Music Booster Shoe Drive Please see the message from the Music Boosters below: Would you ever think that your gently worn, used and new shoes could help your Penns Valley Music Boosters purchase uniforms for our students? Well, they can and here’s how. Our team is participating in a fundraiser where there is nothing to buy or sell; all we need is your support and your gently worn, used and new shoes. We are looking for community members to help support us by agreeing to collect 25 pairs of gently worn, used and new shoes in the next four weeks. Here’s how you do it: Start in your family’s closets and gather pairs of shoes that you’ve outgrown, out of style, or out of season. If you have 25 pairs, great; if not please ask your neighbors and co-workers to do the same. These shoes will help support our program as well as micro-entrepreneurs (small business owners) in developing nations like Haiti, Colombia, and Tanzania. Can we count on you? Midd-West Football Game information and LOCATION

Hello Everyone, Please make sure your children bring their dinner and a re-closable drink. I do not know if they will offer the band anything so bring money if you want a snack or drink at the game. The weather looks clear but cool with a low of 52. Instrumentalists should plan to layer underneath their uniform and band front should plan to wear layers over their uniform. Our marching band will be playing PREGAME around 6:30 because it is their homecoming. ***ALSO PLEASE NOTE*** The location that was posted on my website for the Midd-West Football game is incorrect. I was under the impression that the game was at the high school. That is not correct. The link below is correct directions and my website has also been update. I confirmed with Dr. Althouse that the game is not at the school. THANK YOU Mrs. Josephson for bringing this to my attention. I apologize for my error!,+4545+Penns+Valley+Rd,+Spring+Mills,+PA+16875/645+Snyder+Avenue,+Beaver+Springs,+PA+17812/@40.7592801,-77.6276025,10z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m13!4m12!1m5!1m1!1s0x89cec0f0ee111e07:0x76e570ed271202b1!2m2!1d-77.5301667!2d40.87766!1m5!1m1!1s0x89ced83d837abffb:0x5d00ffb9d941b3d5!2m2!1d-77.2185103!2d40.7418609 Thank you, Darris
