Flexible Instructional Day (FID) Expectations

FIDs will be called when there is an anticipated school closure with at least 48 hours advanced notice. Lessons will be prepared and shared with students in a live format via Zoom. Assignments will also be posted on the 7th Grade Homework Board. Students with unreliable internet are expected to download any needed materials prior to the FID at the direction of the teacher so they can complete assignments on the day of the FID. Students are expected to sign in to Zoom at the beginning of class, following their normal class schedule. Attendance will be taken in the Zoom room and instructions will be provided. If a student has unreliable internet and that has already been communicated to the district, Zoom attendance is not expected.

All assignments are due by the end of the day on a FID, or the following day for students with unreliable internet and the inability to submit work virtually.

The daily class schedule can be found on the 7th Grade Homework Board. The Zoom link for Math 7 and Math 7a can be found in the Important Links folder in Schoology. Other links that could be needed are the Savvas Realize website and the Get More Math website.
