Hello!

 

I am Sarah Snyder, a new mathematics teacher here at Penns Valley Area High School. I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with a concentration in Secondary Education from Waynesburg University in 2021 and acquired my PA Level 1 Instructional certification for mathematics in grades 7-12. Before coming to the Penns Valley School District, I taught at the Grier school for two years, building experience working with a diverse group of students and as a new teacher.

 

As a life-long learner, I believe in Penns Valley's mission statement, "Empowering our students every day to reach individual success". Every student has the capacity to learn and succeed. It is my goal to help students become life-long learners, achieve individual success, and understand how they can apply the skills of mathematics into their everyday life.
