All About Me & My Role
My Mission: Helping teachers create learning experiences that are engaging, rigorous, and memorable for all students. I am passionate about teaching, curriculum design, and supporting educators in reaching their fullest potential.
Over the past 17 years, I have taught a variety of social studies courses, beginning my 14th year here at Penns Valley Area High School. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Secondary Education – Social Studies from Slippery Rock University and my Master’s Degree in Classroom Technology from Wilkes University. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate of Education at Slippery Rock University while simultaneously completing my Educational Leadership Administration Certificate.
As a Learning Focused Trainer, I work to provide teachers with practical strategies, innovative approaches, and research-based practices that make lessons impactful and learning experiences unforgettable.
My ultimate goal is to collaborate with educators to create classrooms where students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
