Hello!  I am happy to be entering my 5th year here at Penns Valley Jr./Sr. High School as a math teacher.  This is my 22nd year teaching overall.  I have taught 6 years of 5th grade (including a half a year at 2nd grade), 3 years of 8th grade, and 10 years of high school.  In addition, I have also taught at the University of Maryland for a few summers.  I was also offered the the position of Director of Mathematics for Washington D.C. Public Schools.  However, I wanted to remain in the classroom where I feel like I make the most difference in students' lives.

 

I am a graduate of Penn State University and have my master's degree from Towson University.  We are so happy to be in the Happy Valley area, raising our two boys.
