ABOUT ME

I  am the resource room math teacher, which means I need to find creative ways to instruct students that learn differently.  I believe that every student is capable of learning, it is my job to find the best way to reach every student.

I have a bachelors degree in special education from Lock Haven State College.  I have a masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from Penn State.  I also have a doctorate degree in Psychology from Southern California University.  My focus for my doctoral work was what type of expectations should I have for students in my classroom with mental health diagnosis.  My thesis was on the increased use of violence among women, both young and old.

Personally, I have several cats and a dog.  I enjoy spending time with them whenever possible.  I also love to fish and camp.  My favorite places to fish are Kish Creek in Belleville and Reedsville and Deep Bay in Canada.  My favorite place to camp is Greenwood Furnace State Park.
