About Me

I have been a teacher here at Penns Valley since 2011. Prior to Penns Valley I taught at the Middletown Area School District for three years. I am also a Penns Valley graduate of the class of 2003. Upon graduation I attended California University of Pennsylvania where I earned my Bachelors of Science in Education with a certification in K-12 Technology Education. In May of 2012 I earned my Masters of Science in Educational Foundations and Strategies from Wilkes University. 

 

 

I enjoy teaching Technology Education here at Penns Valley because technology is always changing and growing. It is extremely rewarding to teach new concepts to students and to also connect the relevance and real life applications that the technology can have to them. And when I say technology I mean more than just computer and cell phones. We utilize the latest CAD programs to create designs which we can then print out on one of our 3D printers, cut out with our laser engraver, machine with either our wood or metal CNC machine, or cut out on our CNC plasma cutter.
