Winter Concert - Thursday, December 7th, 2023 at 7pm
District Band Festival (by nomination) - January 11-13, 2024
at Glendale Junior/Senior High School
Centre County Honors Band (freshmen only) - January 18 & 19, 2024
at Bald Eagle Area Junior-Senior High School
District Jazz Festival (by audition only) - February 15-17, 2024
at East Juniata High School
Spring Concert - Thursday, May 16th, 2024 at 7pm
Concert Attire & Expectations
- All students should wear black. This unifies the ensemble and places emphasis on performance.
- Wear clothing that is not distracting (not shiny, not short, not tight).
- Students should be able to perform comfortably in their outfit. A tuba player might dress differently from a clarinet player, percussionist, or singer.
- Students should report to PVJSHS at least 30 minutes before the beginning of a concert. This affords students time to warm up and prepare for an outstanding concert that starts on time.
