Ancient Civilizations 7

Course Description
Ancient Civilizations 7 covers a range of cultures beginning with ancient India and ending with the beginning of modern history. This course has 8 units which cover the following topics: culture, religion, ancient India, ancient China, ancient Greece, ancient Rome, Medieval Europe, and the Age of Exploration. It builds on the content students learned in previous Social Studies classes and prepares them for future classes on American and world history.

1. 7th Grade Communication Board: Google document updated daily with upcoming assignments, due dates, class agendas, and school related events. 
 
2. Ancient Civilizations Newsletter Board: Google document updated weekly with detailed class agendas and step-by-step directions for assignments
 
3. Schoology: learning management system used to access resources and submit assignments for Ancient Civilizations and other courses
 
4. Skyward: system used to access student grades
 
5. Course Syllabus: classroom routines, expectations, academic policies, units, and other information about Ancient Civilizations 7
 
6. Student Handbook: information about school policies, procedures, scheduling information, athletic eligibility, and more
