Ancient Civilizations 7

Course Description

Ancient Civilizations 7 covers 6 units: (1) Culture, (2) Ancient India, (3) Ancient China, (4) Ancient Greece, (5) Ancient Rome, and (6) Medieval Europe. The focus of each unit is on the G.R.A.P.E.S. of culture: geography, religion, achievements, economy, and social structure. Students learn about what culture looks like and how it influences the people’s lives: in both ancient and modern times.

1. 7th Grade Communication Board: Google document updated daily with upcoming assignments, due dates, class agendas, and school related events. 

 

2. Ancient Civilizations Newsletter Board: Google document updated weekly with detailed class agendas and step-by-step directions for assignments

 

3. Schoology: learning management system used to access resources and submit assignments for Ancient Civilizations and other courses

 

4. Skyward: system used to access student grades

 

5. Ancient Civilizations Syllabus: classroom routines, expectations, academic policies, units, and other information about Ancient Civilizations 7
