About Mrs. Keller

 

 

This year will mark the start of my 32nd year of teaching, my 31st year teaching in Penns Valley!   I am a PROUD 1986 graduate of Penns Valley High School and upon graduation, furthered my education at Lock Haven University.   I received my Bachelor of Science in Special Education degree in May of 1990.   My first teaching experience was as an elementary learning support teacher for grades 3-5.  In April of 1991, I began my teaching career with Penns Valley.  Since that time, I have achieved "highly qualified" status in Middle School Math.  In addition to my responsibilities to students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP's), I am also a co-teacher in middle school math classes.  

 

I am the proud parent of two Penns Valley graduates, Clarissa and David.  My daughter and her husband blessed us with our first grandchild a year ago and I love being a grandparent.  My husband, David, is also a Penns Valley graduate.  We have been life-long residents of Penns Valley. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, gardening, raising our two labrador retrievers, and the great outdoors, especially camping.
