Expectations, Rules and Procedures

Class Rules and Procedures: 

 

All rules will be followed according to the student handbook.  If a student does not conduct themselves according to those rules, the student will be referred to the office for disciplinary action. Cell phones are not permitted in the art room unless a specified application will be utilized.

 
Missing/Incomplete Assignments: 
 
Art courses have a strong studio component, therefore attendance is critical to a student's’ success.  Students are responsible to complete the work assigned, in class. If a student needs more time, students can utilize RAM time or at home if the project allows.  No points will be removed for the work being late, however, a missing will be placed into the grade book and a 0 will be averaged into the grade until the assignment is turned in. No missing or incomplete work will be accepted one week prior to the end of the grading period. 
 
Extra Credit:

There are no extra credit assignments for art class.  However, here is the option provided:  any student who is not satisfied with their grade can schedule to come in to the art room during RAM time for support and time.  Students have the option to re-do any project that they are dissatisfied with as long as they turn in the project one week prior to the end of that grading period.
